Steenberg Vet has been open for just over 20 years, and has become a well-established and popular Vet clinic situated in an upmarket shopping centre and in close proximity to the beaches and mountains. Perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors! Our loyal clients are more like family, and we continue to welcome new patients and clients on a regular basis. We also provide veterinary care to sick and injured animals from Westlake informal township which is extremely rewarding. Although we are predominantly a small animal practice we are seeing a growing number of exotics. Our Senior Vets all have special interests which include orthopaedics, oncology, soft tissue surgery and Avian Medicine. All Vets have a busy and varied caseload, however there is always time to learn something new or to discuss a case. The Vets are well supported by an excellent team of Nurses and kennel/theatre assistants and we have friendly and helpful reception and admin staff. We pride ourselves on our high level of customer and patient care. Our clinic has three consulting rooms, dental room, theatre, prep-room and hospital. Equipment includes: digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house idexx bloods, infusion pumps, etc We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate would be confident both surgically and in consultation and would have at least 2 years experience, however new grads are welcome to apply. Remuneration will be based on experience. The position is available from April 2023.
