You would be joining practice partners Julie Ling MRCVS, Claire Bullock RVN and our amazing team of 3 vets, 6 RVN’s and 3 Client Care Advisors. The position would be suitable for an experienced vet or a recent graduate. We have an experienced team to offer support, guidance and an amazing graduate package. We are a close knit team focused on excellent teamwork and high standards of care. We are one of those teams who like to spend time together outside of work as well as at work! We are RCVS accredited & a silver ISFM practice as well as a training practice for student nurses. One of our veterinary surgeons has recently completed her certificate in Small Animal Veterinary Medicine and we have 2 nurses working towards certificates in Small Animal Nutrition & Feline Nursing. Our vet Karen has a passion for exotic species, so we see lots of weird & wonderful. We are situated in the small town of Kirkby In Ashfield, less than a 10 minute walk to the closest train station, 15 minutes from the M1 motorway and 30 minutes from Nottingham and East Midlands airport. We are a 30 minute drive away from the beautiful Peak District and Sherwood Forest. We have zero tolerance for rude and aggressive clients and we fully support you with difficult cases. We would also welcome anyone from outside of the UK to apply for this role, but to be successful you would need to be RCVS registered and have previous experience working in a UK Veterinary Practice. Sponsorship costs would be covered by the practice if your application is successful.
Workday
We are open Monday - Friday 8.30am-7pm, Saturday 9am-1pm and closed Sundays, we use Vets Now for our OOH service. We have scheduled tea breaks, lunch breaks, catch up slots and admin time.
