Why choose this job

Located on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW – plenty of beaches and bush walks to enjoy. Only a short drive from Sydney and also close to Newcastle. Tuggerah Veterinary Clinic has been caring for pets, wildlife and (occasionally) livestock on the NSW Central Coast since 1999. Our team is committed to providing a friendly, caring and professional veterinary service. The majority of our patient load consists of companion animals – dogs and cats. We also treat a variety of exotic pets (including birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice and rabbits). Our client base is varied, but includes a significant breeder clientele, plus we have expertise in feline medicine and ferrets. Our services include general consultation and examinations, vaccinations, tumour and cancer, soft tissue, ophthalmic and orthopaedic surgeries, dentistry, anaesthesia and microchipping. We have an extensive range of modern medical equipment such as an x-ray machine & digital processor, dental unit, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring and a full surgery. As the Lead Vet (along with the support of the practice manager), you will lead a team of passionate vets and vet nurses delivering a personalised, professional and dedicated care to our patients and their owners. You will also be responsible for the management and supervision of the financial and clinical function of the business. Our clinic is proudly owned by Vets Central (VC Operations (NSW) Pty Ltd) and as part of a larger organisation, you will have the benefit of a sharing of knowledge from various avenues. We will provide a ‘Concierge Buddy’ who will be there every step of the way to support you through the visa/relocation process. You will have the backing of a dedicated support team to help you settle into your new practice environment and location.
